Detect Tables vs One Column

Detect tables looks at horizontal gaps between text pieces on each line and maps them into CSV columns. It works best on reports, invoices, and PDFs that already look tabular.

One column puts each text line into a single field. Use this for prose-heavy PDFs, or when auto column detection splits content too aggressively.

Column detection works well on clear tabular layouts, but complex multi-level tables, merged cells, and scanned pages may need cleanup afterward.

What file do I download?

By default you get a single .csv file. Choose CSV per page to download a ZIP containing one CSV for each PDF page.

Does this work on scanned PDFs?

This tool reads selectable text already in the PDF. Image-only scans usually need OCR first — try PDF to JPG plus Image to Text, then save as CSV.

Is there a file size or page limit?

Yes. Upload PDFs up to 25 MB with a maximum of 50 pages per conversion.

Can I convert password-protected PDFs?
